Fearann Eilean Iarmain (FEI),
Isle of Skye, Scotland
Fearann
Eilean
Iarmain
(FEI)
is
an
estate
on
the
Isle
of
Skye
with
an
extensive
portfolio
including
23,000
acres
of
land,
two
hotels,
distillery
and
retail
units
run
by
the
proprietor
Lady
Noble.
The
estate
extends
through
Sleat
and
Strath,
a
particularly
striking
region
in
the
south
of
the
Isle
of Skye.
Historically
forming
part
of
the
fiefdom
of
the
Lords
of
the
Isles,
Fearann
Eilean
Iarmain
–
“the
lands
of
Diarmaid’s
Isle”
–
was
acquired
by
Sir
Iain
Noble
more
than
45
years
ago.
Lucilla,
Lady
Noble,
with
her
love
of
the
Isle
of
Skye,
its
heritage,
language
and
culture,
and
the
inspiration
imparted
by
her
late
husband,
Sir
Iain,
is
passionate
in
her
role
of
custodian
of
Fearann
Eilean Iarmain.

Iarmain
(FEI),

Lady

FEI,
has
appointed

the
professional
hotel
management
company
responsible
for
all
hospitality
operations
on
the

Glenmorven
Associates
Ltd.
assumed
complete
senior
management
control
of
the
hospitality
business
of
the
estate,
undertaking
objectives
previously agreed with Lady Noble.
It
was
important
to
Lady
Noble
to
appoint
a
management
company
that
understands
the
independent
hotel
sector,
shows
like-
mindedness,
has
flexibility,
depth
of
support
resources,
a
clear
understanding
of
the
estate’s
particular
circumstances,
a
structured
approach
and
sound
reporting
protocols.
Lady
Noble
commented,
“The
challenges
of
operating
in
the
independent
hotel
sector
are
hugely
different
to
operating
a
branded
hospitality
business
where
a
franchise
agreement
exists.
Independent
hotels
require
a
very
individual
and
personal
approach
and
Glenmorven
Associates
Ltd.
offers
this
to
Fearann Eilean Iarmain (FEI)”.
